They are all young yet armed with great enthusiasm, initiative and drive to break into the world of fashion runa to show what they are capable of. These are the participants of Fashion Catwalk Show organized by Studio Effepi Events of Franca Pollastri from Sarnico , in collaboration with Figurella – Iseo , Sunday 28 March at 16.30 at the Araba Fenice Yachting e Lifestyle Resort and Hotel in Pilzone d’Iseo. On this occasion there will be clothing made in Franciacorta and its surroundings , created by the young designers Marta Gianfreda, Gianbattista Pacchiotti, Valerio Foresti e Irene Gagliardi. Not to be missed is a superb wine tasting with FranciacortaWines from the Cooperativa Vitivinicola Cellatica-Gussago, gadgets and brochures from the sponsors and other initiatives promoting the area, as well as other free gifts, all within the splendid structure that is a Hotel dating back to the 1800s situated directly on the Iseo Lake.
At the event, presented by Alessandra Riva with music by Dj Daniel , will be present numerous celebrities, giornalists, photographers and many more from Milan, Bergamo, and Brescia. “The reason behind this non profit iniziative – explains the organizer Franca Pollastri – is to promote the work of these young fashion designers who sacrifice their free time to think, design, sew, try out, wear and try to get their clothes and designs worn by others using carefully sourced materials as well as recycled pieces maybe from grandmas closet that have then been given a modern twist. A demonstration that there are not just young people going crazy on a Saturday night but also those young people who know how toh ave fun with friends whilst at the same time trying to be creative and make themselves a brighter future realising their dreams. Marta Gianfreda , 18 years old, born in Milan, has lived for 7 years in Sarnico and studies in Brescia at the Arts Highschool (final year). Her work is entitled "An Atelier without rules" and aims to mirror what makes her who she is: Marta stylist for herself and model for other stylists. Gianbattista Pacchiotti , 36 years old but who hides his age well, born in Brescia, with a Peter Pan quality, invents, designs and sews dresses and clothes for his friends. He works in an office, but his dream is designing fashion. Irene Pagliardi , 26 years old, from Iseo, is the most “professional” of the group as she already produces and sells garments and has presented her designs at MilanoVendemoda. Small but oh so cute. Her label is called "Conti Pagliardi". Valerio Foresti 21years old, attended fashion design school for 5 years, finished last year and designs and sews wedding dresses, obviously not in a conventional style. His pieces are full of colour and resemble evening gowns more than traditional wedding dresses. They can be long or short with jewel encrusted, embroidered, or lace jackets should you wish. He is currently looking for employment and hopes that this iniziative will help to get him noticed in the industry.
