The area of the Iseo Lake, situated in the province of Brescia, is a place capable of satisfying the most varied of tastes thanks to its splendid landscape, both for its history as well as its culture. Between the deep blue of the lake and the green hills, thoughts are lost in the immense calm and the vivid colours. We can admire the Torbiere, an area of peat marsh where lake and land meet to provide the natural habitat for a wide range of animals and plants. In Iseo, like in other villages of the Brescian Sebino, the culture surrounding wine is rife, where the simple grape is turned into the prestigious wines produced in this area and known across Italy. The warm summer sun extends its invitation for fun, be it to take long walks along the lake, sail in splendid sailboats, or relax on an excursion which takes in all the quaint corners of Montisola, the largest island in a lake in Europe.
