An ambitious project to create a “Citadel” dedicated to the pursuit of Nautical Sport and the free time that goes hand in hand with it
In an ex unused manufacturing warehouse situated in Pilzone d’Iseo (BS), nearby access to one of the most beautiful bays on the Iseo Lake, we are developing the truly ambitious project of building the biggest lake based Nautical Centre in Italy. In a 25.000 square metre area, rises a structure that covers a total of 18.000 square metres, distributed over two floors as well as another adjacent residential building of 2.000 square metres distributed over 5 floors. The building itself is located in a strategic position, two paces from the lake with regards to the “Bay of Vertine”, and with the main façade facing directly onto a main road where the year round passage of trains and other vehicles guarantees excellent visibility for commercial activities occupying the space. It can be found on the main road from Brescia to the well known ski and hiking resort of Ponte di Legno and vice versa. The project aims to convert the entire area into a “Citadel” for Nautical pursuits, able to contain all the possible commercial activities linked to the nautical world in order to ensure a complete service and package to the sports enthusiast. The new structure called “ CENTRO NAUTICO FRANCIACORTA” aims to become an epicenter and focal point within the nautical sport not just for the Franciacorta region but for the whole of the North of Italy, offering specialist services and products with the ability to satisfy even the most exacting tastes. Within the Nautical Centre the following activities can soon be found: § An hangar dedicated to the deposit and care of up to 600 boats no longer than 12m; § A mechanical office and workshop for the maintenance, repair, outfitting, cleaning and restoration of historic boats. § A shipyard for the assembly and outfitting of new craft; § An area for the exposition and sale of new and used sailing and motorboats, rubber rafts, canoes and windsurfing equipment; § Commercial gallery aimed towards the sale of items and services linked to the nautical sport and free time associated with it, such as fishing and diving gear, accessories, clothing both technical and leisure, insurance, leasing, sailing licenses, etc. § A historic Motorboat museum covering nautical history in the area; § A touristm/ hotel structure complete with residence, roof-top pool and solarium; § An area for fairs and markets; § Private parking for clients with over 200 spaces both open air and under cover; § Heliport.
